Last December, my sister and I cut our hair short short short. Here I am a year later, walking the halls of my high school getting looks like I have three heads, rather than a faux hawk. I was originally inspired by Agyness Deyn, who I like to call the queen of androgyny.
I'm sure Agy has experienced the dead stares when making late night trips to Wal-Mart, but why is it boys can have long tresses (Steven Tyler, Justin Bieber, dare i say, Bret Michaels) without fret, while girls are tormented by questions and shoulder checks?
I dont't ever regret giving into shears.
