Today, while taking a mental health day off from school, I was shopping with my sister at Target, where I found faaabulous gold+brown wedges for 20 bucks. Lucky me, I paid only $8 the register. While at work later, employee discounts and clearance prices let me get two pair of adorable shoes for just 20 dollars.

Sartorial Dreamer
I'm hoping to catch the most fabulous moments of someone's day, regardless of who they are, or where they got their clothes.
Thanks to my graphic design class, I have access to 30 Canon Rebel SLR cameras and teenagers blooming with style. :)

I'm in love.
I know I've neglected the blog for...too many months.
That is only because I write only when I am truly moved by something.
I cant stop loving Miu Miu's sparrow pumps.
The print..the thick, cloggy heel & platform....
Can you imagine how your legs would look in those babies??
Alexander McQueen's runway-skinny.

Don't get me wrong, stilettos are undeniably a woman's secret weapon (A weapon I've yet to master),but I am a sucker for high platforms and bulky heels.

They're definitely "look at me" shoes, which I adore in any outfit. :)

Through Sickness and In Health.
Today is the first day Ive been dreadfully sick in almost a year.
Unfortunately I had to walk out of my yoga class early, but other than that, I cant complain.
I slept in and woke up to hours of Sex and the City: not just my new obsession, but the only TV show I enjoy other than It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
If I've caught the mean reds or even the blues, I turn to a Coco Chanel movie or my all time favorite, Breakfast At Tiffany's; but lately, my eyes have been glued to the lives of four Manhattan women who seem to have all the right answers, except in their wardrobe..
Thanks to E! and a thoughtful birthday gift, I'm starting at season one-where awful '90's fashion could be at its lowest. I know these girls live their lives fashion forward, but does that mean Carrie has to wear a bucket hat?
Regardless, I'm in love with the saucy love lives of this fab four, and cannot help but use a few tricks in my own love game.

..
..
Whether I'm up or down, sick or healthy, i can always rely on my favorite people being there :)

Plastic is Perfect.
A few days ago, I decided to take a trip down to get another gotti manicure. Yes, its no fun typing, and I refuse to open a can of tuna, but I can't help but love the new accessories that sit upon my fingernails.
While enduring this beauty session, I wondered why I had to go to Mexico for a nice manicure. Asia rocks this style even more mad then Central America. Why hasn't the US jumped on this wild bandwagon?

You may have noticed fantastic phalanges like these on YouTube. Michelle Phan? Willow Smith? Oh, how I hope America embraces what I'd like to be an upcoming fashion statement.

New York -vs-LA
I recently read an article by Joe Zee in my monthly Elle subscription. The piece was about New York grunge style, versus the bohemian queens of Los Angeles. I couldn't help but question my own style, and what fashion capital I belong in.
I came to this conclusion:
undecided.
My closet is full of dreary hues and hardcore fabrics, but that doesn't mean i don't like to soak up some rays in a sun dress complemented with strappy sandles?
What capital are you? New York's tough rebel, or LA's busty, bronzed, blondie?
